Entrance Requirement

CADS Enhancement Centre accepts children from age 4 through twelve (Chronological age). The Centre also accepts children who are above 12 but whose mental age are below 12 years of age.

The children must have been evaluated by any of the multidisciplinary professional in the field for example speech and language pathologist, educational or developmental psychologist, child psychologist, learning therapist or any specialist who is knowledgeable about the area of the child’s

“Our mission is to increase the visibility of children with learning disabilities by providing them with a learning support environment that would contribute to the individual child's journey towards self reliance, independence and expanded opportunities. ”

Curriculum

We aim to provide a curriculum which is coherent, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated. English is the medium of instruction.
We emulate the National Curriculum with additional subjects such as Computer lessons, Solat and Hafazan of Quranic verses and doa for the Muslims. In addition, we have chosen Silat as our co-curriculum uniform body. We also encourage our students to give oral presentations as in ‘Show and Tell’ during Monday morning assembly to instill confidence and enhance oratory skills at an early age. We also plan educational visits and outdoor learning, living skills and social skills as part and parcel of the curriculum.
We believe that children should be involved in their learning and have an understanding not just of what they are learning but also of why they are learning. This is observed from the “Project Presentation”, a joint assignment of parent and child which also culminates parental involvement and bonding.
